Summer Happenings

So...it has been a while since I posted a new post. We have been enjoying our summer, attending many barbeques, parties, and going on some vacations. During the last week of May we went to the Marriott Grande Vista Resort where we spent many hours by the pool and some time at SeaWorld, where we enjoyed the Shamu show 3 times per Kylie's request. We had a great time spending the week with Heidi, Andrew, Emily, and Ansley, Nick and Audrey. For the first part of June we were busy with the annual dance recital, which turned out to be fabulous, if I must say so myself. Kylie danced in 3 numbers as well as in the finale along with her cousins. It was quite the production, but it is now over for the summer. Kylie is currently in gymnastics camp 2x a week and loving every minute of it. Currently, we have been very involoved with activities at the church, including the preschool drive in and preparing for the new campus launch in Stuart in August! We enjoyed having Heidi and the girls over this last week and our shopping trip with "Ms. Margaret"was a blast. Well, I think that covers everything that is happening for now...we will try to keep you updated!!!

Kylie's 3rd Birthday

Well, what do you expect?? So, I am a little behind!! For those of you who check my blog frequently you are thinking...thank God, I don't have to look at those house picutres one more time. We celebrated Kylie's birthday on her actual birthday, April 26th, with her family...well, most of them anyway. We started the day at Sweet and Sassy day spa for girls, where the girls got their hair, nails, and a peidcure done. They had so much fun...especially the birthday princess. After a day at the spa with her cousins, aunts, mommy, and grandma, we all stopped in a local "gelato" store. The girls loved their frozen treat! We then went to Chuck E Cheese where we ate pizza and played games. At the end of the day we went back to our home for cake, ice cream, and presents. The girls had a slumber party and everyone had a great time. Kylie can't wait to have another birthday party!

More House Pictures

After Photos

Well, it has taken a while, but I think it is time to post the after photos of the house...we have a lot of work still left, but all painting and most decorating is done. It is finally starting to feel and look more like home instead of a huge tornado of belongings! I am starting to feel a little relieved now that most of the inital work is over and I am getting a little more accustomed to the area, house, and my new job/schedule. I miss all of my family and friends in LP, but am very comfortable here and am excited about all that God has in store for us here in Port St. Lucie. We will be hosting Kylie's B-day party in a couple weeks at Chuckie Cheese and also have our first "party" here at the house with friends/family. We are very excited and hope everyone can come. Well, I think all my blogging is caught up...enjoy the pictures!

Wedding Pictures

The Updike/Mielke wedding was beautiful. We all enjoyed every minute of the day. Kylie really enjoyed her time at the salon, getting her hair done, and taking pictures with the beautiful bride, Margaret. Kylie was a bell ringing in the wedding and went down the asile right before Margaret did ringing a bell to make the crowd aware she was on her way. She did a great job. I have to say her favorite part of the day was dancing in the hummer limo on the way to the reception and getting to spend the night with her cousins...she misses them so much and so do I!!

Family Day @ Fire School for Josh

I was working at the studio, but Trey got some really great pictures of Josh and Kylie, so I wanted to post them. Josh is currently attending Ridge Tech and upon gradution in April will be working for Forestry...we are so proud of him. Kylie had a great time, enjoyed spending time with the family, and doing all of the "fire stuff". She tells me she can't wait to grow up and be a firefighter like daddy, so she can spend the night at the fire station...she just can't seem to understand why they won't let her stay the night now!!

Easter Pictures

Just now getting around to posting my Easter photos...I was extremely rushed during this weekend. Christ Fellowship hosts 3 Easter services at the Cruzan ampitheater and it rained at all 3! Our preschool tent was flooded and I was a drowned rat, but hey, the kids had a great time and it was all worth it in the end. Especially to see Trey up on stage in the preschool tent dancing with the puppet Gerbert. Kylie looked beautiful and had a fantastic time playing, dancing, and learning. She got a wonderful Easter basket from the Easter bunny (who had to come at 5 am to make it to church on time). It was a wonderful weekend, but we really missed both of our families very much!

We are moved and settled

For those of you who are wondering what in the world is going on with me....I have moved and am now living in Port St. Lucie. I started my job last week and am working at a wonderful church in Palm Beach Gardens, FL called Christ Fellowship. I am writing the curriculum for preschool for the three campuses located in Palm Beach County. I am having a blast getting to know everyone and all that this place entails. Kylie is doing well we took her on a tour of her new preschool, trinity methodist, which she will start attending in the fall on Tuesday and Thursday mornings. She was very comfortable and wanted to stay and play. She is looking forward to learning and meeting lots of friends. This weekend is our big Easter service at the ampitheater in Royal Palm Beach we are expecting 20,000 - 30,000 people in attendance. Trey has even volunteerd to help in the two year old tent...those of you who know him realize what a big deal this is!! We are all adjusting to the new place, schedules, and trying to get as much done with the house as possible!! So far we have 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms painted, leaving 1 bed/bath, kitchen, family, living, dining, kitchen, and laundry room to paint! Fun, Fun! Well, that is the update for now. Have a blessed Easter!

A Nice Day @ Home...

Today started early for us...Kylie was up and at em' at 7:20, so began our day. We ate breakfast and headed out the door for my 2 mile morning walk....fun, fun. (I decided to go on a health kick and started this on Monday). After the walk we played a little ball in the backyard and then I cleaned the house...my usual morning routine, while Kylie and Trey ran errands, which included a trip to the real estate office to fax an extension on our contract....we are still crossing our fingers for a Friday closing, but will know more tommorrow (how many times will I say that until this whole saga is over!!) Anyway....I tried a new reciepe today (blue cheese beef tenderloin) and it was good. Later on we went outside to ride Kylie's bike and found a strange dog wandering around the neighborhood...still not sure he has realized that we can't take him in, I am hoping his owner comes looking for him soon.....While outside we drew chalk pictures, swang, and played in the bubbles. I had Kylie count the bubbles as she was popping them and she got up to 14 w/o error, I was empressed!! She never ceases to amaze me!! Well....tonight we are going to watch a family movie and chow down on some lean cusines....until tomorrow....

Football Sunday!!

Well....the photos pretty much say it all!! We started the day off awaiting the arrival of Trey from work, he was running late so I opted to watch the live feed of the sermon froam our new church, Christ Fellowship. It was great and inspiring. I can't wait to be apart of such a "moving" group of people, you can really tell that God has chosen those people in that place to accomplish his will. I am so excited to be a part of the staff...my first day of work is March 10th, but I am attending a staff breakfast this wednesday and a picnic at the stuart campus on Sunday March 1st.

This afternoon at 4:00 Kylie and I decided it would probaly be best for her to get out of her P.J.'s and head to Walgreens for a quick shopping trip...

After Walgreens we headed home for a game of football with the neighboorhood kids...it was hilarious to watch Trey playing Jackpot with 8 and 9 year olds with Kylie on his hip.

Here is some pics of our afternoon outside... God bless!

A fun day with my baby

So, I am new at this whole blogging thing and would never had started it if it wan't for my sister...I think it is cool I can keep up with her daily events without even picking up the phone so....since we are moving away I thought I would start one of my own to keep everyone aware of how things in the "cameron household" were going.

Today started with a shower for my best friend Margaret who is getting married March 29th....we had a studio shower at 10, it was very fun and beautiful.

After the shower we headed home for naps and then went up to Sebring so the cousins could play and my sister and I could enjoy some adult converstation. The girls mainly played outside in the wagon and then we took them on a golf cart ride around the neighborhood, we then went back to the house for dinner and baths.

Heidi and I had great converstation and the girls had a wondeful time together...they are all growing up way too fast! Well, who knows what tomorrow brings...until then.....
